Welcome!  My name is Mrs. Johnson and I teach 4th grade in Room 8.  I've been teaching at Rice for over 12 years and I love it here.  I believe that all my students can learn and become future college students.  

 

4th grade students will be studying all about California history.  At the end of the year, we have a field trip to Knott's Berry Farm for the Gold Rush event.  It is lots of fun and the students all love seeing history come alive.

 

Our adopted college is UC Santa Cruz because they have the best mascot, Sammy the Slug!
